Mandatory Regional Practice

Please make arrangements to be at LCS practice next Wednesday, January 31st 8-9:30 p.m. @ HFFA.  

This is a mandatory practice session for relay work.  

It is imperative that you are there.

Regional Entries

FYI...Communication from the NCHSAA this week stated that preliminary Regional entries SHOULD BE posted by 8:00 p.m. Sunday, January 28th.

You can check the status of this by going to NCHSAA Swimming & Diving specific page.

Please do not bother Coach Ross or Coach Williams asking if we know or have we seen it, etc.  That information will be posted online.  As soon as one of us sees that it is posted we will post it here and send out an e-mail.

There is a late entry deadline on Monday.  The final entry list will be posted online Tuesday, January 31st.

I would like to extend a heartfelt congratulation to you for a great season.

Remember that we are in the hight of our season.  Please do the small things from here on out, rest, study, proper diet, hydration.  BE AT PRACTICE!  

To our club swimmers, place your focus on LCS.  There will be some upcoming practice sessions that Coach Ross and I will expect "all hands on deck".  It will not be every practice but as we move closer to regionals on 2/03 we will call a practice or two that you will need to plan to attend.  This is primarily done for relay exchange purposes so we are not waiting for the day of to get our timing down.

CANCELED - - 8th Annual Last Chance Meet

I received an e-mail yesterday from the coach at East Burke stating that there will be no last chance meet this season.  

With the weather this week, school cancelations, exam schedules in Burke County, this has caused East Burke to reschedule their conference meet to next Friday, Jan 26th.

Coach Ross or Coach Williams will let you know if you will continue your season beyond Saturday, January 20th.
