Huntersville Family Fitness and Aquatics

Location:

Huntersville Family Fitness and Aquatics Center: 11725 Verhoeff Dr, Huntersville, NC 28078

Cost: 

There is no parking fee; $7 entrance fee for everyone including parents that help with timing (we will honor booster memberships) and heat sheets are $1

Schedule: 

Be at HFFA by 3:45 pm

Warm-ups 4:00-4:25 

Coaches/captains meeting 4:25 pm

Timer meeting 4:45 pm (volunteers needed) 

Meet 5:00-7:00 pm     

What to Bring:

bring a towel or two, healthy snacks/drinks; 

swimmers need to be responsible for their own items including phones/electronics

extra goggles, swim caps, swim suits would be good to have

Important Notes:

swimmers are not allowed to have any writing on themselves; 

swimmers are required to stay with the team during the meet; 

the meet moves very quickly, swimmers need to pay attention or they will miss their events

please stay to the end of the meet to support your team

Seating will be very slim because there will be two conference meets going on at the same time.  We will be swimming on the dive well side of the pool tonight.

Swimmers will be on the bleachers at the end by the dive well and then there will be a section blocked off for parents. He suggest that you bring chairs.

Gate is still $7 and $1 for a heat sheet. 

Parking will be limited so please have your parents arrive early to get a spot close to the pool. 

We will need timers for the meet. We will request that we do not have two parents from the same school on the same lane since we are doing this meet old school without the Colorado system.

We will honor seniors at the end of the meet by calling them out. LCS did get flowers for our swimmers.

We will be swimming on the opposite end from where we usually do.  

The Mecka7 4A conference meet will also be going on at the same time as our SPAC 1A meet.

See below for more details.  If you are willing/able to time we will need all the help we can get because we will be hand timing this meet due to fact that there is only one Colorado Timing System and the other meet will be using it.

4:00-4:25 pm - Session 1 Warm-up-Lincoln Charter

4:30-4:55 pm – Session 2 Warm-up

4:25pm – Coach/Captain/Officials meeting (we will discuss a rest break)

4:45pm – Timers meeting – **volunteers needed** Please request volunteers prior to meet - 6 per school,

5:00pm – National Anthem - Start of meet
