Cost:
There is no parking fee; $6 entrance fee as mandated by the NCHSAA for Swimming Regionals
Schedule:
Released from class at 1:30 pm
Leave LCS 1:45 pm
Be at HFFA by 2:15 pm
Facility opens 3:00 pm
Pool open for general warm-ups 3:15-4:00 pm
Clear the pool for coaches’ meeting 4:00 pm
Coaches’ meeting 4:05 pm
Competition begins following the coaches meeting (appx 4:30 pm)
What to Bring:
bring a towel or two, healthy snacks/drinks;
swimmers need to be responsible for their own items including phones/electronics
extra goggles, swim caps, swim suits would be good to have
Important Notes:
Swimmers are not allowed to have any writing on themselves, beyond the wrist. Events on hand or palm are fine
Swimmers are required to stay with the team during the meet
The meet moves very quickly, swimmers need to pay attention or they will miss their events
Please stay to the end of the meet to support your team
Seating will be very slim because there will be two conference meets going on at the same time. We will be swimming on the dive well side of the pool tonight.
Gate is $6 mandated by NCHSAA for swimming regional competitions
Parking will be limited so please have your parents arrive early to get a spot close to the pool.
